Agenda Item

Preventing artificial intelligence from being used as a weapon against humanity.

About the Committee

Some of humanity's greatest inventions have advanced civilization, while others have transformed the nature of warfare forever. Today, artificial intelligence stands at that crossroads. Capable of accelerating innovation and strengthening security, AI also carries the potential to become one of the most dangerous tools ever created if weaponized without limits or accountability.

In this North Atlantic Treaty Organization committee, delegates will confront one of the defining security challenges of the 21st century: preventing artificial intelligence from being used as a weapon against humanity.

Representing member states and strategic partners, delegates must address the risks posed by autonomous weapons systems, AI-driven cyberattacks, disinformation campaigns, surveillance misuse, and the loss of human control in military decision-making. They will be tasked with balancing technological advancement with ethical responsibility, collective defense with global stability, and deterrence with diplomacy.

Delegates must negotiate safeguards, establish military standards, strengthen international cooperation, and ensure that innovation serves humanity rather than threatens it.

Will nations unite to control the rise of weaponized intelligence? Will global security adapt before technology outpaces law and ethics? Or will the future battlefield be shaped by machines beyond human command?

The security of tomorrow is in your hands.
